This course dives deeper into maximizing oyster experiences for yourself and for others including how to taste oysters, serve oysters, oyster pairings, oyster accouterments, and promoting oysters. This course is focused on North American oyster appellations, but the best practice knowledge is universally applicable.

Prerequisite: Level 1 or pass the Level 1 Competency Exam

Level 3 - Oyster Service Excellence for Professionals

This course provides restaurant and hospitality professionals the foundational knowledge and skillset to operate a high-quality oyster program or solopreneurs who are interested in pursuing their own oyster-related business, the building blocks of a successful oyster experience.

Class type: Hybrid online + in-person training, plus specialty modules

Launch: Fall/Winter 2024

Level 4 - Oyster Mastery for Professionals

This course equips an oyster service professional with everything they need to know to start their own oyster bar, catering company, or elevated oyster experience. This course provides an in-depth examination of oyster production regions, sensory and service expertise, and business and operational requirements.
